Which size does my dog need
K9 Advantix II is dosed by the scale, and only the scale — breed, age and fluff all lie, but pounds don't. Weigh the dog (bathroom scale: you, then you holding the dog, subtract), then read the band off the table.
Two edge cases the label is strict about: dogs on a boundary weight belong to the band their actual weight falls in — never size up 'to be safe' and never split a large dose between two small dogs. And puppies must be at least 7 weeks old.
A dog that's actively gaining — a growing pup or a diet in reverse — gets weighed again before every reorder. The band that fit in spring may not fit by fall.
